Project Overview

Effective local governance is essential for sustainable community development. However, limited institutional capacity, weak coordination, and low citizen participation often reduce the impact of local development initiatives.

The Local Governance Community Development Program addressed these challenges by strengthening collaboration between local authorities and communities. The program promoted inclusive planning, supported capacity-building of local bodies, and encouraged transparency and accountability mechanisms to improve public service delivery.

Problem Statement
